With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kent Hegstrom of Watertown, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kent left this world on February 21, 2026 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kent may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Hegstrom and Alta Hegstrom (Wendt); and his sister Marsha Brown Hegstrom.
Kent has been a Retired Senior Volunteer (RSVP) volunteer for over a year.
To continue Kent's giving nature, we ask all gifts and flowers be donated to a Watertown charity so that he can continue what he believe in, helping those in need.
