With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Gatz (Watertown, South Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Prosper Gatz and Doris Gatz (Brewer); and his sister Harriet Lien. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Rodlund of Watertown; and his sons, Blain Gatz (Kendra) of Milbank, SD and Brian Gatz of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
