She was predeceased by : her mother Grace LaBelle; her husband Lonald Runnels Sr.; her parent Morgan "Eli" Horne; her son Derek Travis Runnels; her brother Reginald Horne Sr.; her grandsons, Mahpito Keith Hawk Jr., Luis McKinney and Gonzalez; her nephew Waylon C. Horne; and her niece Deidra Lufkins.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Community Center (12554 BIA Highway 711, Agency Village, SD 57262).
