Though Maxine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maxine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Faehn and Agnus G. Faehn (Kringen); her husband James Cook; and her brothers, Bob Faehn and Don Faehn.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Smith (K. C.) of Rapid City, SD, Rochelle Aesoph of Key West, FL, Lindsay Cook of Sioux Falls, SD, Melanie Miller (Dan) of Watertown, SD and Monte Cook of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 11 great great-grandchildren.
