It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Guffey of Watertown, South Dakota, born in Clark, South Dakota, who passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd V. Guffey and Dorothy Anne Guffey (Kranz); his grandson Dylan Michael Guffey; his grandparents, Vern, Lula Guffey, Nicholas and Anna Kranz; his brother James Guffey; and his parents-in-law, Jack and Winnie Jensen.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Erin of Juno Beach, FL and Sean Michael (Lindsay); his wife Jean Adele Jensen; his grandchildren, Liam and Grayson of Clive, IA; and his sister-in-law Karen Guffey of Fort Myers, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
