He was predeceased by: his father James S. Olson; his grandparents, Joyce, Don Olson and Perry Bergh; and his daughter Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his mother Anita M. Gerber of Clark, SD; his wife Veronica; his daughters, Kirsten Olson (Troy Gallup) and Rachel Johnson (Joshua); his granddaughter Charlotte Johnson; his grandmother Margaret Bergh of Watertown, SD; his brothers, Brian (Gwen) and Jon Gerber (Nancy); and his nieces, Addison and Lilyan Gerber. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Goodhue Lutheran Church (15555 441st Ave, Florence, SD 57235).
