It is with sadness that the passing of Nancy McNamara of Watertown, South Dakota is shared. Nancy, born on March 1, 1941, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Hildred Pauline Oakley; her husband Richard McNamara (Paddy); her grandson Marshall McNamara; her great grandchild Chandler Jager; her stepfather Ray Galbraith; and her brother-in-law William McNamara (Billy).
She is survived by: her sons, Mike McNamara (Lynda) of Watertown, Mark McNamara (Jill) of Hazel and Pat McNamara (Tammy) of Lake Norden; her grandchildren, Austin McNamara (Eryn) of Watertown, Aly Heaton (Tad) of Henry, Mitchell McNamara of Hazel, Ciara Jager (Brady) of Brookings, Sarina Hanson (Jake) of Brookings, Skyler McNamara of Lake Norden and Stephen Larsen (Marcela) of Volga; her siblings, Ray "Butch" Galbraith (Ann), Betty Kiefer (Tom) of Excelsior, MN and Linda Petersen (David); and her sister-in-law Verley McNamara. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crawford - Osthus Funeral Chapel (1311 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St Martin's Lutheran Church (1200 2nd St NE, Watertown, SD 57201).
