Nicholas Halling Obituary
We announce the death of Nicholas Halling of Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 74. Nicholas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Halling and Viola Halling (Kaiser); and his siblings, William Halling, James "Butch" Halling, Eugene Jr. "Biggie" Halling, Mary Hegge, Nancy Hintz and Janice "Doll" Albers.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Kilber; his children, Tricia Halling of Reno, Nevada and Andy Halling (Andrea) of West Fargo; his grandchildren, Camden and Genevieve; and his brothers, Lorin Halling of Watertown and Richard Warness of Merced, California.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to The Watertown Salvation Army or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
