He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Johnson and Bertha Johnson; his wife Lorraine Jean Anderson; his daughter Becky; and his siblings, Inez Walker, Evangeline "Vangie" Lovseth, Jonas, Norris, Arlee, Ray, Lyle and Gail.

He is survived by : his children, Sheri Martin (Ross) and Mike Johnson (Mandy); his son-in-law Craig Sjovall; his grandchildren, Andy, Alex, Abe Martin, Megan, Cameron Sjovall, Taylor, Allison and Tommy Johnson; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Walraven, Wanda Johnson, Nathelle "Kay" Nelson and Irene Hofer. He is also survived by cousins, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
