She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Schmeling and Edith Schmeling (Zielsky); her brother Dale Schmeling; her sister-in-law Isabelle Schmeling; and her niece Judy Salverson.

She is survived by : her nephews, Randy (Rita) and Joe; and her niece Janet Pray.
