He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Howard Frederick Aarstad and Lorraine Abigail Aarstad (Pearson); and his former wife Kitty. He is survived by: his wife Kathrine Lynn Aarstad (Huffman); his daughters, Jordan Mallory (Lafayette) of Shreveport and Samantha (Kyle); his grandchildren, Iris Ruth Martin, Charles Fredrick Martin and Henry Ogden Martin; and his brothers, James Aarstad (Barb) of Watertown, SD, Thomas Aarstad (Sue) of Sioux Falls, SD and Donald Aarstad of Watertown, SD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
