It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodger W. Gross of Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arnold and Grace Adeline Gross (Gabert); and his siblings, Dewayne Hjermstad and Valerie Nordhus-Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Gross; his children, Cristin VanDriel (Mark) of Victoria, MN and Michele Gross of Copenhagen, Denmark; his grandchildren, Maya Steffes (Alec), Ben VanDriel and Malik Machaieie; and his siblings, Diana Wells (Brian) of Ames, IA and Greg Gross (Kim) of Watertown, SD..

I remember him playing ball, and I held my breath when he was on the trampoline. I know he will be missed. I have traveled your path for the last 13 years. My deepest sympathies.
