It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jane Gehr of Watertown, South Dakota, born in Hurley, South Dakota, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leverne Ihnen and Hilda Ihnen (Buus); her sister Mary Jensen; and her husband Larry Gehr. She is survived by: her daughter Carla Rossow (Wade Urvig) of Watertown; her siblings, Duwane (Sharon), Gary Ihnen of Merced, CA, Robert Ihnen (Melissa) of Marion, SD, Verna Mischka (Randy) of Sioux Falls, SD, Cindy Bailey (Mark) of Watertown, SD, Betty Reynolds (Jack) of Redfield, SD, Sharon Petit of Sioux Falls, SD, Marlene Gross of Wakonda, SD and Diana Ihnen of Wakonda, SD; and her grandchildren, Danielle Kempiaski and Kayela Stulken. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
