She is survived by: her children, Vance Vanatta and Cary Ford (Joe); and her grandchildren, Stephen Vanatta (Shelby), Jeremy Downey, Zackary Downey, Alyisha, Karsyn, Kameron, Kaycen, Charlee Mae and Blakely.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Fiksdal Funeral Service (122 W 5th Ave, Webster, SD 57274).
