He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Coon and Grace Coon (Marxen); his son John; his siblings, Gene, Milton, Mildred, Betty, Gerald, Dwayne, Roger and Audrey; and his parents-in-law, Glen and Emma Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Marla Reed of Webster; his children, Jenny Kissner (Don) of Redfield, Teri Coon of Redfield, Chad Coon (Ashley) of Webster and Nikki Bloom (DeWayne) of Webster; and his grandchildren, Kelsey, Megan, Rebekah, Emma, Hayley, Damian, Noah, John, Samantha, Hanna and Savanna.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the FIKSDAL FUNERAL SERVICE (122 W 5th Ave, Webster, SD 57274). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Journey of Faith Church.
