He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Kern (Rook); his children, Clayton Kern (Stacy), John Kern and Anna Kern; his grandchildren, Kim, Karsten and Kylee Kern; and his sisters, Chris Hicks (Dave) and Lori Kern (Robert Wight). He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
