Vera Zastrow Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vera Zastrow of Wessington Springs, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Vera is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Vera's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl P. Longden and Florence J. Longden (Reimer); and her husband Joe. She is survived by: her children, Jerome Zastrow (Marilyn) of Woonsocket, SD and Pam Harrington (Terry) of Aurora, SD. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
