She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Walker and Anna Walker (Koerner); her husband Don; and her daughter Leola. She is survived by: her pets, Itsy, Bo, Gizmo and Coal; her children, Larry Keeton (Patricia) and Lou Ann Fischer; her grandchildren, Mark Keeton, Kelly Charron, Michael Keeton (Danielle), Lee Fischer, Brian Fischer and Jay Fischer; and her siblings, Mary Lou Cameron and Paul Walker.

Viola worked many jobs but will be remembered most for waitressing at the Silver Spur Cafe, Baking at Jack and Jill Bakery, cooking at Fenske Hunting Lodge, Teveldal Hunting Lodge, and her volunteer work at the Springs Consignment Store until Covid.
