He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Bender and Virginia Bender (Lammle); his former spouse Shirley Ann Dennert-Plummer; and his brothers, Warren Bender and Don Bender.
He is survived by: his children, Stacy Maunu (Jason), Tanya Bender-Svendsen and Jason 'JB' Bender (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Nathan Maunu (Katy), Shannen Maunu (Derek Burdick), Darin McGaugh and Memphys Storm; his great grandchildren, Adam Frazier and Laiken Burdick; and his siblings, Dale Bender, David Bender and Karen Sjomeling.
