It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Wells of White Lake, South Dakota, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfred Wells to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Wells and Cecelia Wells (Anderson); his former life partner Joyce Shirley; his sons, Mike and John; his granddaughter Amy Sue; his brothers, John (Dakota) and George (Clarice); and his nephew Roy Wells.

He is survived by : his wife Eva Lou; his children, Dave (Karla), Doug (Tina), Frank (Pam) of Mitchell and Teresa Deurmier (Doug) of Mitchell; his stepchildren, Lynn, Tom (Diane) of Plankinton and Amy of White; and his daughter-in-law Deb Wells of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prayer Service United Methodist Church. A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church (110 E Delevan St, White Lake, SD 57383).
