The memory of Eileen Hanks of White Lake, South Dakota, who passed away on February 1, 2026 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Sterrett and Helen Sterrett (Schmidt); her husband John Everett Hanks; her sons, Gordon and Lyle; her great grandchild Scarlett; and her daughter-in-law Roberta.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Mick), Deb Knight, Wayne Hanks and Eric Hanks (Carol). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her creativity flowed through everything she did, from quilting, painting, and sewing to helping make masks during the COVID-19 pandemic, always thinking of others.
