He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Ehlers and Joyce Ehlers (Campbell); his brothers, Gary, Wayne, Donnie and Jim; his nephew Wes Hohn; his nieces, Stacy Ehlers and Amy DeBoer; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Letcher and LeRoy Sperlich.

He is survived by : his siblings, Fay DeBoer of Letcher, Wanda Hohn (Wayne) of Mitchell, Russ Ehlers of White Lake, Bonny Warnke (Terry) of White Lake, John Ehlers (Kim) of White Lake, Suzie Letcher of White Lake and David Ehlers (Denise) of Newcastle, Wyoming; his sister-in-law Jennifer Chance (Gary) of Letcher; and his close friends, Audrey, Laban and Trinity.
