He is survived by: his sons, Forest Aker and Stokes Aker; and his siblings, Alan Aker (Heidi) of Piedmont, SD, Cindy Ladner of Rapid City, SD and Deb Schmidt (Dan) of Whitewood, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
