He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Vreim and Hannah Vreim (Hippen); his wife Rita Wittrock; his sister Janice Vreim; his children-in-law, Jerry, Julie and Dwight Grant; and his grandson Nickolas Wittrock.
He is survived by: his sister Norma Steinocker (Wayne) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his stepchildren, Vicki Munson (Sid) of Tea, SD, Terry Wittrock (Christie) of Milbank, SD, Debra Tschetter (Wayne) of Huron, SD, Marty Wittrock (Joyce) of Wilmot, SD and Tracy Wittrock (Angela) of Watertown, SD. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Wilmot Lutheran Church (401 Ordway St, Wilmot, SD 57279). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
