He was predeceased by: his father Fred Sorenson; his brother LeRoy; his sister-in-law Virginia Sorenson; his grandparents, Magnus, Bertha Sorenson, David and Beulah Jensen; his grandparents-in-law, Art, Lucille Argo, Melvin and Beatrice Crooks; and his uncle Larry Lundgren.
He is survived by: his mother Joyce Sorenson (Jensen) of Wilmot, SD; his wife Lindy Sorenson of Wilmot, SD; his children, Kaylee Argo of Englewood, CO and Noah Sorenson of Wilmot, SD; his siblings, Loretta Peterson (Mark) of Esko, MN, Steven Sorenson (Shiree) of New Zealand and Kimi Eckel (Brad) of Hermantown, MN; his siblings-in-law, Jenny Joachim (Marcos) of Brundidge, AL, Melanie Argo of Madison, SD, Lacey Hagen (TeeJay) of Britton, SD and Michael Argo (Tiffany) of Peever, SD; his parents-in-law, Cindy and David Argo of Peever, SD; and his aunts and uncles, Dale, Karen Jensen of Wilmot, SD, Wayne Jensen of Moses Lake, WA and Berniece Lungren of Spearfish, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wilmot Community Center (516 Main St, Wilmot, SD 57279).
