He is survived by: his wife Judy (Harter) of Winner, SD; his grandchildren, Tyler Derry of Corona, SD, Cory Derry (Yvette) of Rapid City, SD, Laine Derry (Katie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Ashley Machtemes (Logan) of Faulkton, SD and Tegan Derry (Kenzie) of Sioux Falls, SD; his great grandchildren, Raelynn, Ridge, Caizen and Paxton; his sons, Craig Derry (Cassie) of Freeman, SD and Neil Derry (Laura) of Sioux Falls, SD; his daughter-in-law Susan Derry of Wellington, OH; his siblings, Robert Derry Jr. of Winner, SD, Kenny Derry (Marilyn) of McAlester, OK and Linda Hedlund of Bremerton, WA; his mother-in-law Gladys Harter; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Vaughn (Jim) of Winner, SD, Debbie Peterson (Neil) of Helena, MT, Leo Kaiser of Council Bluffs, IA and Leonard Eilers of Borger, TX.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (501 S County Rd, Winner, SD 57580).
