He is survived by: his wife Sue Pokorny; his children, Chad Pokorny (Becky McKeever), Drew, Logan, Joey (Jez), Rylee (Jessica), Rudy, Summit, Ryan Pokorny Nealey (Michele Schmidt), Karsen, Max, Sara Swedlund Bella (Tresh), Olivia, Savanna, Lela, Katie Craven Ava (Aric), Carter, Cooper and Crawston; and his brother-in-law Kenny Steinhauser.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (302 W 4th St, Winner, SD 57580). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
