He is survived by: his wife Linda Storm; his children, Tammy Scholz (Larry), Tim Bettcher of Winner, SD, Troy Bettcher of Winner, SD and Tony Bettcher (Stacy) of Winner, SD; and his grandchildren, Dustin Aasheim, Ashley Sharping (Jimmy) and Samuel Scholz. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1217 E 7th St, Winner, SD 57580). A prayer was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Winner City Cemetery (654 N Main St, Winner, SD 57580).
