It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Baruth of Woonsocket, South Dakota, who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. Ames and Sarah Elizabeth Ames (Cox); and her husband Vern L. Baruth. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Westerham (Gene) of Tucson, AZ, Elizabeth Bennett (Robert) of Garretson, SD, Edward Baruth (Monica) of Littleton, CO and Verna Husby (Dan) of Owatonna, MN; and her grandchildren, Bobbie Bennett-Schutte (Brandon) of Gilbert, AZ, Mychal Bennett of Denver, CO, Tami Westerham Miller (Bryan) of Mullen, NE, Kari Westerham Steffens (Lyle) of Tucson, AZ, Polly Westerham Kinder (Drew) of Marana, AZ, Randy Westerham (Colleen) of Eden Prairie, MN, Shawn Westerham of Houston, TX, Kristen Husby (Matt Harris) of Minneapolis, MN, Erin, Sara Ingrid Husby (Joe Alfonso), Dan Koogle (Mariah), Laura Koogle of Denver, CO and Lindsey Baruth of Littleton, CO. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, & 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Faith Church (202 W 7th St, Woonsocket, SD 57385). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
