It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Baysinger of Woonsocket, South Dakota, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Glen, Marjorie Hopkins, Clarence and Leona Baysinger; and his uncles, Ronnie Baysinger, Philip Benson and Jerry Elstran.

He is survived by : his parents, Verald Baysinger and Patty Baysinger (Hopkins); his fiancé Jenni Greenway; his children, Daylyn Baysinger (Andrea) of Woonsocket, Alyx Baysinger (Deandre) of Prairieville, LA and Cooper Goldammer of Woonsocket; his grandchildren, Braylyn, Marlee and Asher; his siblings, Chris Baysinger of Woonsocket and Amber Baysinger of Woonsocket; his sister-in-law Heather Reimer; his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Megan, Mason, Miles and Lily; and his close friend Jayda.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bittner Funeral Chapel (805 W Havens Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 4th 2024 at the Woonsocket.
