With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Ann Skillman of Worthing, South Dakota, born in Appleton, Minnesota, who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard VanWinkle and Mildred VanWinkle (Larson); her husband Martin Skillman; her son Jim; her granddaughter Rylee; and her siblings-in-law, Florence Long, Cathy Breum, DeWayne Bartz, Don Anderson and John Long.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean, Joe, Jerry and Marty (Jeannie); her grandchildren, Sarah, Nick, Nate, Madie and Ava; her siblings, Gerold (Marlys), Marlys Bartz, Betty Underthun (DuWayne) and Dianne Swartz (Larry); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Anderson and Dick Breum. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
