It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Gene Hollow Horn (Wounded Knee, South Dakota), who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley G. Hollow Horn, Sr. and Irene Hollow Horn (Smith); his children, Richard and Kori Janelle; his grandson Brandon; and his siblings, Geraldine, Russell, Richard, Sharon, Emerson and Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Weston Hollow Horn; his children, Michael (Andrea, family: Bruce, Kori Lynn, Karin), Warren and Alexis; his siblings, Margaret Bigleggins (Gary) of Poplar, Clover Buckles (Jim) of Poplar, Arlie of Poplar, Arlin of Poplar, Vernon of Tuba City, AZ, Ronald of Missoula, MT and John of Bozeman, MT; and his adoptive mother Kay Hudson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wounded Knee Church of God. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of God P. O. Box.
