With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernard Olson of Yankton, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Olson and Faye Olson (Howard); his son Joe Olson; and his siblings, Shirley Wolters, Beverly Simmons, Darlene Phillips, Wayne Olson and Glen Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Judi Olson (Lane); his daughters, Cindy Olson and Judy Shiota (Van) of Lodi, CA; his grandchildren, Shawna, Chelsea, Joshua, Joe Jr., Karen Rose, Jeremy and Jacob; his stepdaughters, Lyn Heggestad and Teresa Ewing (Corey); and his stepgrandchildren, Curt Knapp (Kaylee), Carter Ewing and Sondra Riggle (Jordan). He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
