We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Claire Schmidt (Yankton, South Dakota), born in Calgary, Alberta. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claire and Cecil; her husband Jim; and her son Jim. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Heather and Robert; her children, Robin Shank (Tim), Heather Peters and Robert Foster-Schmidt (Christopher); her grandchildren, Jeremy Shank (Chanel Shaw), Ian Peters and Megan Peters; and also Bob. She is also survived by her brother; myriad nieces and nephews; and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to one of Lorry's favorite causes: the Scotland Youth Center (POBox 2, Scotland, SD 57059) or the Spirit of '76 scholarship fund (POBox 430, Scotland, SD 57059).
