He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlando Benjamin and Clara Munson (Hegna); his son David Eugene; his siblings, Dorothy and Gerhardt (Gary); and his wife Julie Morstad.
He is survived by: his son Eric Jon; his child-in-law Chris; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Maxwell and Julia; and his nieces and nephews, Kristi Wellendorf (Brad), Karin Munson, Jill, Nina, Paul, Bret and Kari.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the David Munson Scholarship at Augustana University in Sioux Falls.
