He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Emma Heinz; his children, Deborah Susan Wright (Earl) of Brodnax, VA, Michael Eugene Bulian (Judy) of Davenport, IA, Carmen Rose Hansen (Gary) of Rapid City, SD, Vicki Marie Munoz of Hot Springs, AR, James Edward Bulian (Karen) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kathryn Jo Healy (Jeff) of Weatherford, TX and Alan Francis Bulian (Vickie) of Yankton, SD.; his grandchildren, Erika Atchinson, Tabitha Bryant, Sean Bulian, Jennie Anderson, Kari McCord, Anna Bulian, Warren Hansen, Christina Ward, Chris Bulian, Brady Bulian, Jamie Hegge, Matt Healy, Andrew Healy, Nick Bulian and Stephanie Brodeur; and his sister-in-law Ella Heinz. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory (601 W 21st St, Yankton, SD 57078). A rosary was held on Monday, July 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 7th 2027 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (509 Capital St, Yankton, SD 57078).
