The memory of Joyce DeMaro of Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on May 13, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Denfeld (Gib) and Joy Denfeld (Tornquist); her husbands, Dr. Lawrence Savage (Larry) and Anthony DeMaro (Tony); and her brothers, Col. Richard Denfeld (Dick) and Gilbert Denfeld (Gib).
She is survived by: her children, Kimberlee Dickson (Bob) and Christopher Savage; and her granddaughter Josephine Savage. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
