He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Neuhalfen and Lola Neuhalfen (Peck); his son Patrick Neuhalfen; his brother Paul (Lavonne Neuhalfen); and his parents-in-law, Frank, Frances Schulte, Roman, Ester Schulte, Ralph Schulte, Cliff, Jeanette Schulte, Sally, Laddie Svatos, Gerald, MaryAnn Schulte, Donald Schulte, Harry and Dodie Schulte.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Neuhalfen of Yankton, SD.; his siblings, Dan Marshall (Becky) and Cindy Goers (Rob); and his parents-in-law, Tudy Thompson (Don), Marge Schulte and Sharon Schulte. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
