He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Mach and Mary Mach (Placek); his brothers, Raymond and Milo; and his sister-in-law Beverly.

He is survived by: Steven, Annie Mach, Milo, Maggie, Terry, Liz Mach, Allan (Carley), Ray (Mikayla), Kenny and Kristy Mach (Rich Krawetz).

Following retirement, he returned to Tripp to care for his mother who had developed Parkinson's disease.
