He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cap and Ludmilla Cap (Walloch); his wife Lucy Haberer; his daughter Becky; and his parents-in-law, Laurence and Marcella Haberer.
He is survived by: his son Dwayne (Julie Cap) of Yankton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Goglin Funeral Home - Yankton (807 31st St, Yankton, SD 57078). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery (205 N Lidice St, Tabor, SD 57063).
