Leonette G. Murray Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonette G. Murray of Yankton, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leonette G. Murray to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Frank J. Goeden (Schmitt); her husband JB Murray (John B.); her grandparents, Peter J., Catherine Goeden, Frank and Elizabeth Schmitt; her siblings, Jerome, Marvin, Earl, Ethel Havermann (Ray) and Dorothy Richard (Roland); and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Corey, Andy Kirkitelos and Janet Goeden.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gerard (Audrey), Duane, Charlotte Kirkitelos and Elaine Corey; and her sister-in-law Angela Goeden. She is also survived by 42 nieces and nephews, numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory (601 W 21st St, Yankton, SD 57078). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery North Douglas (509 Capital St, Yankton, SD 57078).
