He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hans Smith and Margaret Smith (Semple); his wife Phyllis Sorensen; his children, Marilyn Lowe (Dave) and Wayne Smith (Jane); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Lowe (Barbara), Sean Smith (Erin), Riley Smith (Christine), Melissa Menke (Brandon) and Tanner Smith (Erin). He was also cherished by 14 great grandchildren; and a bumper crop of nieces, nephews and in-laws.
