It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Mjoen of Yankton, South Dakota, born in Hurley, South Dakota, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Sorensen and Anna Sorensen (Andersen); her husband Gilbert Mjoen; her siblings, Everett Sorensen (Helen), Estella Anderson (Arnold), Muriel Aaen (Oliver), Gladys Brown (Lowell), Darlene Hoxeng (Warren) and Elaine Meyers (Jim); and her brother-in-law Jerome Zavadil.
She is survived by: her family Lucy; her children, Roger Mjoen (Vicki) of Naples, Pamela Mjoen of Yankton, Robert Mjoen (Christie) of Houston and Sheryl Gullikson (Bruce) of Yankton; and her sister Carolyn Zavadil of Crofton, Nebraska. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
