She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sherman and Betty Sherman (Layne); her siblings, Doug Sherman, JoAnn Waters and Brenda Bordeaux; and her grandmother Minnie Layne.

She is survived by: her brothers, Gary Sherman (Cathy) of Bonesteel, Rodney Sherman (Sheila Bearinger) of Yankton and Jeff Sherman (Sandy) of Mission Hill; her brother-in-law Bob Waters; and her aunts, Kay Kellogg of Elwood, Nebraska, Janet Mines (Dennis) of Yankton and Barb Schneider (John) of Yankton. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
