She was predeceased by : her parents, Frances Mary Sudbeck (Thoene) and Paul Sudbeck; her husband Art Kathol; her children, Mary, Karl, Dale, Dean and John; and her siblings, Allen Sudbeck and Mildred Bracht.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Todd Kathol, Jake Mackey, Matthew Hodges, Spencer Carl, Mark Kathol, Tomas Kathol, Audrey Carl, Karen Carl, Renee Wrigley, Wendy Mackey, Alex Hodges, Jennifer Kathol, Brad Kathol and Kurtis Kathol; her children, Linda Carl (David) of Shawnee, Kansas, Lori Mackey (Charles) of Yankton, Paula Hodges (Michael) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Donavin Kathol (Joyce) of Bow Valley, Nebraska and Julie Childers (Scott) of Lincoln, Nebraska; her siblings, Norman Sudbeck (Delores) of Hartington and Jean Stratman of St. Helena, Nebraska; and her sister-in-law Jolene Sudbeck of Hartington. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
