He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Gorman and Deloris Gorman (Thill); his brothers, Richard and David Gorman; his great-niece Emmy Gorman; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Wagner and Terry Walters.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sharon Wagner, Chuck Gorman (Cherie), Dianne Walters, Linda Specht (Bill), Daniel Gorman (Audrey Caine), Mary Jorgenson (Cliff), Michael Gorman (Cynthia), Peggy Scherschligt (Dan), Tim Gorman (Katrena), Lisa Gorman (Bill Michalak) and Kimberly Gorman (Jenn Thompson); and his close friend Patrice Weisser. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Avera Cancer Institute in Yankton or to Avera St. Michael's Hospital in Tyndall.
