He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Boe and Hazel Boe (Mattison); his wife Ardis Wek; and his siblings, Don Boe, Doris Christensen (Erwin) and Betty Haffner (Lyle).

He is survived by : his children, Robert Boe (Kim) of Lennox, SD, Marcia Boe of Yankton, Mark Boe of Sioux Falls, Randy Boe of Viborg, Greg Boe of Yankton and David Boe of Yankton; his grandchildren, Holly Marie of Canton, SD and Donelle Rae of Phoenix, AZ; and his sisters-in-law, Jane Boe of Union City, TN and Marj Roning of Hills, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home – Yankton (2901 Douglas Ave, Yankton, SD 57078). A prayer was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
