He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Kortan (Grayson Smith) of Seattle, Emily Kortan of Lincoln and Katie Lane (Dylan) of Lincoln; his grandson Waylon Duke Lane; and his siblings, Elaine Vaith of Lesterville, Diane Kortan of Yankton, Richard (Karla Kortan), Ron (Karen Kortan) and Tim (Ginger Kortan).
