With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Susan Shannon of Yankton, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shoemaker and Virginia Shoemaker (Renner); and her niece Brianne Cox. She is survived by: her husband William Shannon of Yankton; her children, Priscilla Shannon (Ryan Smith) of Stillwater, MN, Libby Hintgen (Greg) of Sioux Falls, SD and Robert Shannon (Misty) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Amelia, Alex, Ava Smith, Clara, Gabrielle "Coco" Hintgen, Milo and Summer Shannon; her siblings, Bill Shoemaker (Kate) of Yankton and Barbara Shoemaker of Houston; and her nieces and nephews, Sara (Nick Shoemaker), Betty (Jim Cox), Chuck and Garrett Cox.
Memorials may be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children and Christ Episcopal Church in Yankton.
