We are sad to announce that, on August 18, 2022, Troy S. Thurman of Yankton, South Dakota, born in Miller, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Tyce Thurman; his father Jim Slate; and his grandparents, Jack and Grace Bride. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Slate (Bride); his children, Gracie and Troy; his wife Brook Nelson; his children, Jamee Bruegman (Rebecca Pearman) and Bode Thurman; and his siblings, Shawn Bride (Veronica), Trevor Slate (Jennifer), Shannon Slate (Woody Sanders), Tiffany Slate (Randy Reynolds), Tyler Slate (Melissa), Ron Slate (Gretchen) and Janet Slate. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins aunts and uncles.
